Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account and using Creatives Who Walk ("the platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms form a contract between you and the operator of Creatives Who Walk.

2. Membership

Access to the platform requires an active membership. Membership is granted upon successful payment and is billed as a recurring subscription. Membership benefits include:

• Access to upcoming walks in your city and worldwide
• The ability to RSVP to walks hosted by other members
• The ability to host walks and invite other members

Membership may be waitlisted in cities where the platform has not yet launched. Waitlisted members are not billed until their city becomes active.

3. Payment and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. By providing payment details you authorise recurring charges. Prices are shown in EUR and include applicable taxes where required. Invoices are issued electronically and available in your account under Invoices.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods. To cancel, contact us at hello@creativeswhowalk.com.

5. Hosting walks

As a walk host, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the walk location, time, and duration
• Show up at the agreed time and meeting point, or cancel with reasonable notice
• Treat all participants with respect
• Ensure the meeting point is publicly accessible and safe

If you need to cancel a walk, do so as early as possible so participants can plan accordingly. Repeated no-shows may result in suspension of hosting privileges.

6. Community conduct

All members are expected to:

• Treat fellow members with respect and professionalism
• Not use the platform for commercial solicitation or spam
• Not share personal information of other members without consent
• Honour their RSVPs or cancel in good time

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate memberships that violate these standards.

7. Liability

Creatives Who Walk facilitates connections between members but is not responsible for the conduct of members during walks, for personal injury, loss or damage arising from attendance at walks, or for the accuracy of information provided by other members. Participation in walks is at your own risk.

8. Intellectual property

Content you submit to the platform (bio, photos, walk descriptions) remains yours. By submitting it you grant us a licence to display it to other members within the platform. We will not use your content for advertising or share it outside the platform without your consent.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Austrian law. The courts of Vienna have exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes arising from these terms, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may cancel your membership before the changes take effect.
